I'm an international student who moved to Toronto recently and Sid has been an angel when it comes to helping me and my friends rent. From the first moment we contacted him, Sid has always been quick to respond, even if we sent him a message at 10 in the morning or 10 at night. He guided us through the entire process, from picking out units to making a rental application and what our rights were, and he never dismissed any questions we had with "don't worry about it", instead always answering even the simplest or silliest questions I had due to my inexperience. With Sid's help, me and my roommates were able to view around 15 units and helped us find our current condo. For each viewing, he even printed us out the information for each unit we were viewing in nice custom designed red envelopes, which I found pretty cool. Not only did he help us and patiently explained everything to us during the viewings, but also during the application process. I had never done a rental application before so I was totally new to the process, but Sid walked us through it with the patience of a saint. I think I called him about 5-6 times per page of form 401, 410 and all the extra forms to ask questions, but he never got annoyed. He was always patient and kind in explaining what all the different terms and clauses meant. He also helped us avoid a bad landlord who tried to put a borderline illegal clause into the contract. An extra plus was that he helped us in obtaining tenant insurance once we signed our contract and Ontario Standard Lease agreement. For context, this review was written in March of 2026 in the Scarborough area. If any of you reading this are like how I was before meeting Sid, then you should definitely choose him as the person to help you with renting. Thank you again Sid.
