Victoria Village, often called Victoria Park Village or Sloane (after the main street in the area), is a great neighbourhood choice for young families looking for large yet affordable North York or Toronto homes for sale. North York’s most southern community (it’s actually further south than some uptown Toronto neighbourhoods), Victoria Village feels more like east-end Toronto than North York. It’s also a great choice for midtown commuters with the upcoming addition of the Eglinton West Crosstown LRT which will primarily run underground through the core but has a surface-level stop at Victoria Park. For TTC users, you can access the Bloor-Danforth subway by taking a bus south down Victoria Park.
