Charming, family-sized homes on large lots with parking–check. Near good schools, libraries and community centres–check. Easy access to public transit–check. Shopping, entertainment and nightlife close by–check. Surrounded by green space–well, you see the pattern here.It’s pretty hard to top the neighbourhood features list of Mount Pleasant Toronto. The only negative is the lack of affordable housing. However, when compared to nearby luxury area Lawrence Park, Mount Pleasant real estate is actually better value–particularly if you’re willing to live further into the heart of the neighbourhood, which is still only blocks away from the lush ravine settings of the northwest quadrant.
