A word of caution to investors though: if you’re planning on a quick flip, be careful not to over-invest in the renovation. While there are some properties selling well into the seven figures, in general, the east section of Main & Danforth likely won’t attract the prices that we’re seeing to the west, particularly in areas just outside of this neighbourood where there's been a major contractor presence for years, e.g. in neighbouring Greenwood-Coxwell around Monarch Park.

You Can Choose to GO
Many residents that live near the Main and Danforth intersection choose to hop on the GO train at Danforth station to head downtown to Union rather than commute in via car or subway. It’s just a ten to fourteen minute ride depending on the train and many locals swear by its convenience.
