Lawrence Bathurst is not a traditional neighbourhood if you look at most Toronto maps – it’s technically part of both Glen Park in the west and Caribou Park in the east, with Bathurst as the dividing line – but for those interested in houses for sale in North York around this intersection, there are some differences in this pocket. And so it’s worth looking at this as an individual neighbourhood to research its unique draws and drawbacks.

Sharing many similarities with the larger Glen Park area, this is a culturally diverse community with large Italian and Jewish populations, great amenities, an excellent public school and great value real estate in comparison to the exclusive neighbourhoods further south like Forest Hill North. Where Lawrence Bathurst differs from its neighbours is in its proximity to the main arteries and shopping areas, giving parts of this area a more lively feel.
