Hillcrest | Bracondale Hill

Hillcrest | Bracondale Hill NEIGHBOURHOOD GUIDE

9 Homes for sale | 3 Homes for rent

Hillcrest homes for sale come in a wide variety of sizes and architectural styles; there's no "typical" Hillcrest home. However, what most have in common is an historic feel with brick and stone construction and character details that give these homes great curb appeal. They tend to offer much greater bang for your buck than properties in the nearby exclusive neighbourhoods of Casa Loma and Forest Hill.

Hillcrest homes also tend to feel more private than most properties this close to downtown thanks largely to the winding topography that makes for quiet, tree-lined streets. In particular, there are some lovely, detached Toronto homes for sale near Hillcrest Park which are among our favourite properties in the city.

You can read more about why we love the homes in this area so much in our Hillcrest neighbourhood guide.

Best For

Buyers looking for houses for sale in Toronto in a mature neighbourhood with an old world feel (without the steep entry prices of its elite neighbours in Forest Hill and Casa Loma).

Why We Love Hillcrest | Bracondale Hill

Because Different is Beautiful

It’s rare to find such variety in property styles in a Toronto neighbourhood. Hillcrest homes come in a wide array of architectural styles including Edwardian, Tudor and English Cottage and no two streets look exactly the same.

There’s a unique flavour to the character properties here that are a far cry from the sometimes sterile, behemoth mansions often found in upscale neighbourhoods which, even if you can afford them, are not to everyone’s taste.

It’s a Private Enclave

Because of its unique topography, Hillcrest feels physically separate from the rest of Toronto. It's a community that sits above its neighbours atop the Davenport escarpment. The streets tend to experience lighter traffic than surrounding areas adding to its cozy, residential feel.
