Michael Gauer, B.Eng

Michael is a licensed Real Estate Broker and Accredited Buyer’s Representative with over a decade of experience helping people buy, sell, and lease homes. He brings a friendly, straightforward approach to real estate, along with strong market knowledge, sharp negotiation skills, and a genuine focus on making the process easier for his clients. Before real estate, Michael studied Electrical Engineering at Ryerson University (Toronto Metropolitan University), where he graduated at the top of his class. He also grew up around building, renovations, and hands-on construction, which gave him a practical understanding of homes that goes far beyond what you see in a listing. With his home inspection certification, Michael knows what to look for and helps buyers spot potential issues before they become expensive problems. Michael also has experience with renovations, investment properties, flipping, and construction, giving his clients an added layer of insight when making important decisions. He takes pride in being approachable, honest, and easy to work with, while still fighting hard to get the best possible results. Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and son. He loves snowboarding, skating, keeping up with new technology, and, maybe most importantly, roller coasters. As a true roller coaster enthusiast, Michael appreciates a good thrill, but he also knows that the best rides, like the best real estate experiences, come down to preparation, timing, and knowing you are in good hands.
