Avesha Maharaj

I was born in Trinidad and Tobago and my parents immigrated to Toronto when I was 12 yrs old. As a former nationally ranked Caribbean and Canadian tennis player I used the same skills as an athlete and applied them to my every day life. In 2004 I received a full academic scholarship to York University. I graduated in Political Science and minored in Accounting while still competing on court 1 and 2 for York University Ladies tennis. Shortly after graduation I was hired by Hollis Wealth as a wealth manager. In 10 years, I've designed numerous portfolios to assist my clients in accumulating wealth and early retirement. Along with my career at Hollis Wealth I have invested and successfully flipped half a dozen homes making a life changing income. This triggered a change in my focus to residential real estate. I believe everyone in life needs to keep an open mind and reward themselves with the many opportunities that may arise. The skills and expertise I've developed since a young athlete to an experienced wealth manager are now the skills I wish to bring to each of one my clients in real estate.
