The Warden Woods are a lush, green space that make up the southern portion of Clairlea-Birchmount. The ravine is home to the Gus Harris Trail, christened in 2002 after the former mayor of Scarborough John (Gus) Harris. It’s a fantastic walking trail and a favourite of bird watchers along with visitors hoping to spot a Butternut Tree that’s now so rare, it’s protected by Ontario’s Endangered Species Act.
